Is it possible to install and use the retro taillight without the stock fender? Or even without a fender?

Any way to use this tail light with a Fender eliminator kit?

  4. johny dyson says:

    Does it fit a speedmaster?

  5. I have a 2014 bonneville t100 Black that came with the black grab rail that is on the bike using the shock bolt from what i can see, I see no interference with the grab rail and installing this retro light in place of my stock light. The grab rail is not mounted to the fender.

I got this tail light for my 2013 Scrambler… It is a really nice quality piece of kit and really is 'plug and play', it's so easy to fit anyone can do it.
HOWEVER…. Please be aware that if you have the genuine Triumph grab rail & dresser bar fitted to your bike (Bonneville/Scrambler/Thruxton range) this light will NOT fit using the original mount holes in the fender, unless you leave off the dresser bar or adapt it.
I wanted to keep my grab rail on the bike so have cut the dresser rail in two (it still fixes on the same way) to avoid the light unit fouling it. It is not possible to refit the fender to the bike with this tail light on, whilst the original dresser bar is in situ.
Other than that, it's great! :)
